Ensures customers are given the best possible quality of service and implements the supply chain procurement policy in conjunction with plants; optimises inventories and customer credit

Defines and implements the supply chain:

• • Ensures consistency between sales forecasts compiled by the business unit and effectively conveys them to suppliers
• • Provides a solid procurement policy including business unit commitments and forecasts following manufacturing approval
• • Maintains inventory levels in line with business unit objectives
• • Ensures customers benefit from the highest service standards with regard to quantities, quality and lead times while reconciling both sales and manufacturing logistics requirements through the most relevant supply chain setup
• • Represents the business unit in handling all logistics issues with customers
• • Improves customer relations through client partnership projects for procurement and by optimising relations with business unit suppliers

Determines and implements resources with regard to manpower, tools and organisation to cover customer risk:

• • Helps improve business unit financial results through optimal management of customer credit and effective debt collection Supervises the work of the Credit Manager
• • Helps draw up general terms & conditions for sale and the sales agreement, ensuring they are applied satisfactorily

Ensures the integrity of business unit assets, especially economic assets: inventories and customer credit

Compiles and gives feedback on indicators with regard to business, performance and services provided to customers

Builds and monitors the budget for relevant departments in line with stated targets

Supervises teams and organisations with a focus on improving customer service:

• • Manages teams reporting to the Sales Logistics Manager, particularly with regard to forecasts and procurement, dispatch centres, customer service, safety and sustainable development
• • Ensures introduction of functions vital to the running and quality of Operations, handling recruitment and nurturing talent
